301 redirect - A method of telling Web browsers and search engines that a Web page or site has been permanently moved to a new location. Usually a 301 redirect includes the address to which the resource has been moved. Web browsers will usually redirect the viewer to the new site automatically.

302 redirect - A method of telling Web browsers and search engines that a Web page or site has moved but the owner wants the user to continue to use this URL on a temporary basis, as the redirect could be modified at a later time.

404 error - The standard error response from a web server that indicates a requested page is “Not Found.”
